CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

In 2007, through the process of strategic planning, the Antonian community envisioned an expansion of its campus and developed a two phase process.
Student Center Rendering
The first phase was to include an expansion of the student center, the building of a new kitchen, the addition of a five classroom building and the building of a 300 seat chapel.
The second phase was to include the building of a new gym, the conversion of the small gym into a library, classroom and technology center along with the building a fine arts center to house band, choir, drama and art.
The construction of the New Kitchen and expansion of the Student Center will begin soon. We are expecting to have this construction completed by December 2009. Monies for this project has been procured by way of a 15 year loan.
The construction of the New Classroom Building and Chapel is to begin in January 2009. The conceptualization and construction drawings are presently being developed and construction will begin as soon as these are completed. It is expected that the new Classroom and Chapel Building will be completed by August 2009. Monies for this project will have to be raised. We are to conduct a feasibility study in September 2008 to ascertain the amount to be raised and hope to conduct a capital campaign in January 2009.
